Reclamation and Probation Directorate is responsible for managing community-based corrections, non-custodial sanctions, and offender rehabilitation across the province.
About the Office
Promotes alternative dispute resolutions, juvenile offender supervision, probation release monitoring, and parole integration to reduce prison congestion and foster community reintegration.
Responsibilities & Functions
- Supervision of probationers released under the Probation of Offenders Ordinance
- Social investigation reports submitted to trial courts for juvenile and first-time offenders
- Vocational placement, moral guidance, and family mediation services
